Following the words of Nikolai Bernstein, a motor action \u2014 and therefore a sports action \u2014 is composed of a large number of movements that must be perfectly coordinated to achieve efficiency. Throughout this Specialized Course, the foundations will be laid for understanding the importance of integrating knowledge of the connective tissue present in the human body and its relevance to movement within different sporting actions.<\/p>\n
The content is organized into two main blocks:<\/p>\n
The first block introduces the basic concepts of fascia, its importance in movement, and the role of the myofascial system in motor actions, and therefore in sports performance.<\/p>\n
The second block explores the relationship between the myofascial system and motor control, providing the foundations of myofascial training.<\/p>\n
Upon completing these two content blocks, participants will be able to develop exercise progressions that consolidate the learning of specific technical actions, allowing athletes to apply these actions effectively in various game situations through tension readjustment methodologies. Gran Canaria (1985\u20131992), winning three King\u2019s Cups and four National League Championships. He then served as Assistant Coach and Strength and Conditioning Coach for the same club (1993\u20131998), achieving three additional King\u2019s Cups and two League Championships. He was appointed Head Coach of the club (2001\u20132007). He also held the position of Assistant Coach and Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Spanish Senior National Volleyball Team (1997\u20131999 and 2007\u20132008). Furthermore, he acted as a consultant for injury prevention and rehabilitation programs at Uni\u00f3n Deportiva Las Palmas Football Club S.A. (2015\u20132018), Villarreal Football Club S.A. (2017\u20132020), Inter Milan F.C.
