Understood as complements and supports to active therapeutic strategies, passive manual techniques provide significant value both in recovery and injury prevention. Osteopathy, in particular, offers a holistic view of the human body and the interrelationships between biological systems. Observing and analyzing the athlete from this comprehensive and integrative perspective allows practitioners to optimize recovery processes and work preventively (at the subclinical level) to anticipate potential injuries or dysfunctions.<\/p>\n
Upon completing the course, students will be able to understand the mechanisms of action underlying the effects of manual therapy, gaining deeper knowledge of these techniques and, consequently, enhancing their application in sports settings. They will also be able to visualize the human body in a more integrated way and recognize the importance of addressing dysfunctions to prevent injuries and promote athletes\u2019 physiological health.<\/p>\n

In addition, he delivers annual sessions on research methods in various master\u2019s programs.He is a postdoctoral researcher at the Iberoamerican Cochrane Center (CCib), integrated within the Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Public Health at Hospital de Sant Pau in Barcelona and the Institut de Recerca Sant Pau.
