The first module examines the patellar tendon as a connective tissue, its organization within the body, and the degenerative processes associated with tendinopathy, including the different phases of the condition. After completing this module, students will have a solid framework for understanding the pathology, enabling them to select more precise and effective treatment strategies.<\/p>\n

The second module focuses on the various approaches proposed for recovery, depending on the phase of the pathology, and includes a critical reflection on the roles of physiotherapists and strength and conditioning coaches in the prevention of this type of injury in football. The objective is to shift from a reactive to a proactive approach to athlete management, proposing a range of strategies to reduce the likelihood of patellar tendon injuries.<\/p>\n
