This program is designed to provide a comprehensive foundation in post-injury rehabilitation for training and competition, serving as an excellent starting point for understanding and delving deeper into specialized courses focused on specific injuries commonly experienced by football players.
The course explores the concept of post-injury rehabilitation, which is now well established within the field of sports science, as well as the key parameters used in decision-making regarding player progression—a critical point due to the complexity of assessments required to accurately determine the player’s real status. It provides an in-depth look at rehabilitation methodology, covering both basic methodological aspects of recovery progression and specific, evidence-based proposals put forward by leading authors in the field.
The program also addresses the development of basic and football-specific skills, as well as the progression within the rehabilitation process toward on-field tasks, where the player gradually reintegrates into team activities. This stage requires deep professional expertise and close monitoring, as the player is now exposed to situations with less controlled conditions than in earlier phases.
1. Methodological Analysis of the Current Rehabilitation Approach for Football Player Recovery
2. Methodology in the Rehabilitation Process
3. Relevant Methodological Approaches in Post-Injury Rehabilitation
4. From Rehabilitation to Specific Skills in the Return-to-Competition Process
