This training program is designed for professionals working in football who are not part of the technical staff making tactical and technical decisions—such as strength and conditioning coaches, rehabilitation specialists, and physiotherapists. The objective is to provide them with a clear understanding of the tactical foundations of football, without addressing physical or medical content.
The goal is to enable participants to understand the game through tactical logic: how a team is organized, which behaviors occur, what structures exist, and how the game is analyzed. This knowledge allows professionals to interpret matches and training sessions more effectively, using a shared framework with the technical staff.
This understanding aims to enhance each professional’s integration within the staff, facilitating interactions and collaboration across different areas. It is crucial to note that physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, and strength and conditioning coaches can optimize their player-related decision-making by acquiring this tactical knowledge.
Even for coaches, this course can be valuable, as it provides insight into the type of tactical education that health and sports science professionals will receive, according to our approach. Overall, this training fosters improved communication and collaboration within teams, academies, and clubs, ultimately enhancing planning, programming, and decision-making processes.
