The purpose of this program is to train professionals in the therapeutic approach to the most frequent tendinous injuries in football. It specifically addresses patellar and Achilles tendinopathies, as well as injuries affecting the adductor musculature and the pubic region. Although it does not cover all possible tendinous pathologies, the program focuses on those with the greatest epidemiological relevance in this sport, while providing knowledge that can be extrapolated to the treatment of other tendon-related injuries.
Tendinopathy in football players typically develops progressively, often becoming a chronic condition. For this reason, professionals involved in injury prevention and treatment frequently encounter clinical scenarios involving tendons. This certification provides the conceptual and practical foundations necessary for effective intervention in such cases, thereby enhancing practitioners’ ability to address one of the most recurrent issues in the football environment.
