The program aims to provide a broad and up-to-date perspective on injury prevention in football, with a particular emphasis on muscular and tendinous injuries. The central axis of the curriculum is myofascial training, which applies strength work from a preventive perspective grounded in the concept of biotensegrity. Within this approach, the fascia and myofascial complex take on a central role, offering an efficient structural base that helps reduce the vulnerability of the musculoskeletal system.
Alongside this component, the program includes a content block dedicated to strategies for managing competitive loads—and by extension, training loads—which are largely responsible for accumulated exposure to injury risk. Understanding and correctly applying these strategies is key to managing fatigue and preserving the player’s physical integrity.
The training is complemented by a module focused on the potential of osteopathy and manual therapy. Conceived as passive preventive measures, these tools effectively complement active strategies. In particular, osteopathy offers a holistic perspective that facilitates early detection of dysfunctions and optimizes recovery processes.
Taken together, this educational structure enables professionals to understand injury prevention through an integrative lens, emphasizing the importance of an interdisciplinary approach capable of addressing the complex preventive demands of modern football.
