The program delves into the use of assessment tools related to performance, therapeutic processes, and rehabilitation stages, integrating specificity criteria that align evaluations with the skills and demands unique to football. Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy (Gimbernat University School, Autonomous University of Barcelona, 1988–1992), Osteopath C.O. (Barcelona School of Osteopathy, Pompeu Fabra University, 2006–2010), and Psychoneuroimmunologist (EFHRE International University, Regenera, 2021). Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy (Gimbernat University School, Autonomous University of Barcelona, 1994–1995).In the academic field, he has taught theoretical and practical courses in manual therapy, massage therapy, and functional taping at the Gimbernat University Schools (UAB) and the Bages University Foundation (FUB). He is also a collaborating lecturer in the Master’s in Sports Rehabilitation at the University of Girona (UdG).Professionally, he has always been closely linked to sport across different disciplines, including futsal, field hockey, and, for most of his career, football. His professional trajectory in football began with the first team of Terrassa FC (1996–2000), followed by the Catalan Football Federation’s representative team (2000–2007), and the first team of RCD Espanyol (2004–2008). Since 2008, he has worked as a physiotherapist and osteopath at FC Barcelona. He spent 14 seasons with the men’s first football team, serving as Coordinator of the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department, and is currently in his fourth season (over two different periods) with the men’s futsal first team.
PhD in Sport Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Girona. Official Master’s Degree in Integrative Physiology (University of Barcelona). In the academic field, he has held teaching and coordination roles at various universities. He previously taught at the University of Girona, where he also served as Coordinator of the Master’s in Reconditioning to Physical Activity and Sports Competition (EUSES, University of Girona). He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the International University of Catalonia, teaching in both the Master’s in Rehabilitation and Reconditioning and the Master’s in Business Intelligence at Pompeu Fabra University. He is also a current collaborator with the University of Granada.As a researcher, his work focuses on identifying risk factors for sports injuries and improving athletic performance. Within this line of research, he specializes in neuromuscular control and coordination in athletes.In the professional field, he is the Founder and CEO of reQ High Performance, a sports performance, rehabilitation, traumatology, and physiotherapy center based in Girona and Sant Cugat del Vallès (Catalonia), where both professional footballers and academy players train. He has more than 30 years of experience training athletes—primarily football players—and has served as Strength and Conditioning Coach for FC Barcelona’s second football team, working under Xavier García Pimienta (2020–2021), Sergi Barjuan (2021–2022), and Rafa Márquez (2022–2023).
